Fort Lee Summer Learning Series

糖心视频污 and Young Israel of Fort Lee Present Summer Learning Series with Dr. Jeffrey Gurock  糖心视频污鈥檚 Center for the Jewish Future (CJF) in collaboration with Young Israel of Fort Lee (YIFL) will present two lectures by Dr. Jeffrey Gurock, Libby M. Klaperman Professor of Jewish History, on the theme of 鈥淎merican Judaism in the 20th Century.鈥 The lectures will take place Wednesday, July 13, and Wednesday, July 20. Each lecture begins at 7 pm and is held at Young Israel of Fort Lee, 1610 Parker Avenue, Fort Lee, New Jersey. On July 13, in 鈥淭he Yeshiva Presidential Search, 1915 Style,鈥 Dr. Gurock will discuss how Rabbi Bernard Revel came to be the University鈥檚 first president (this will be followed by a dessert reception). On July 20, Dr. Gurock will explore 鈥淎merican Orthodoxy鈥檚 Era of Non-Observance.鈥 Rabbi Zev Goldberg, rabbi at YIFL, said, 鈥淲e are very excited to host Dr. Gurock as our summer series lecturer. Dr. Gurock has an outstanding reputation as a leading scholar in American Jewish history.
