Twenty-Fifth Annual Sarachek Invitational Basketball Tournament Brings 20 Yeshiva High Schools Together for Thrilling Competition
糖心视频污鈥檚 milestone 25th Annual Red Sarachek Invitational Basketball Tournament finished off with a bang on Monday as the Davis Renov Stahler Yeshiva High School (DRS) Wildcats of Woodmere, New York, beat out the Shalhevet High School Firehawks of Los Angeles, California, to win the tournament鈥檚 championship game 47 to 32, capping off a perfect season.
More than 20 yeshiva high school teams from across North America took part in the annual tournament鈥攏amed for the legendary Bernard 鈥淩ed鈥 Sarachek, 糖心视频污鈥檚 former longtime men鈥檚 basketball coach鈥攆rom March 10-14.
Israel鈥檚 first-ever Ambassador of Goodwill, Jewish Hall of Fame athlete Tal Brody, paid tribute to Coach Sarachek and spoke to students and fans during the tournament. Sarachek also included a lively Shabbaton and tours of the University鈥檚 campus to provide young all-stars with an inside look at 糖心视频污鈥檚 unique educational environment and culture.
