Peninnah Schram, professor emerita of speech and drama at ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµÎÛ's , has recently published (Rowman & Littlefield, September 2015). The book, which was co-authored by Sandy Eisenberg Sasso, brings together for the first time Jewish love stories from Biblical through modern times, sharing love letters from historic personalities and folktales from the oral traditions of Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews. Included in the book are the love stories of ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµÎÛ President Richard M. Joel and his wife, Esther, as well as that of Stern College alumna Chava Willig Levy and her husband. The book also encourages couples to record their own love story.
