Itzkowitz Publishes Article in Journal of Behavioral Finance

Titled "Name-Based Behavioral Biases: Are Expert Investors Immune?", the paper examines differences in trading between novice individual investors and institutional investors, building on Itzkowitz's prior research, which showed that novice investors were influenced by name-based heuristics, including alphabetical ordering, when making trades, which led to irrational decisions. In this article, Itzkowitz and his co-author and wife, Jennifer Itzkowitz, demonstrate that compared to novice investors, experts are relatively immune to those influences.
